{LORE} - “Willow’s Breeze”

The Magister wandered into a forest of towering willows, their branches swaying gently, casting dappled sunlight across the mossy ground. Weary from their endless travels, they sat beneath one of the ancient trees, enjoying the stillness.

As their fingers traced the bark, they noticed faint carvings—a heart etched into the wood, with two names barely visible, worn by time. "Lovers long gone," they murmured, brushing away moss that had crept into the grooves. There was something magical in the simplicity of it, a forgotten spell woven into the act of love and memory.

With a subtle smile, they reached into their satchel, drawing a vial of shimmering ink. Carefully, they traced over the names, restoring their clarity. As the ink seeped slowly into the smoothed lines, the tree seemed to sigh. A soft breeze rustling the leaves and a warm glow spread from the carvings. The Magister sat back, watching as the glow slowly faded into the bark.

"A rare magic, indeed," they whispered. "Not everything worth keeping can be sold." And for once, they took nothing, leaving the memory where it belonged.
